Splash !

I do not know how old you were when the film splash was released but me has haunted my dreams of gamine. I had to see it when it is passed to French television I had to have 5-6 years old.

We put the salt in the bath with my sister to the sea. And when a few years later came the Little Mermaid Disney film that made us maboules… Both sirens icons in the years 80, now that I think about it does not surprise me that they are both fashionable lately.

I don't know why it still much fascinated me me who am unable to put a toe in cold water :D

But that has not swallowed 3 litres of water through the nostrils by imitating Ariel who swings his long hair over his head in a glare of scum ?
Disney is very pretty with beautiful scenes of ocean, but the original story is otherwise more shattering… It is perhaps this side sad and tragic ally to the imagination of the sea (who has inspired the men of the terrifying stories and wonderful tjs) who inspire us more today than the Disney or Splash. Interesting to note for example that in Peter Pan, the sirens are wicked and jealous, in other tales, they are canibales etc… much more interesting as figures women as pretty small poissonnes with lifejackets in shells saint jacques bonnet D…

La créature légendaire (comme la licorne) et l’amour impossible (avec le mec tout en gambette) = le cocktail gagnant qui fait rêver les midinettes comme nous !

I have to see Splash once. Especially rocked the Disney JHA summer version traumatized by the much closer to Japanese version of the original Andersen fairy tale… Anderusen dōwa ningyo hime, Marina the mermaid in french. The de-pre-ssion !

Splash! This is my kid cult. At the time, I put a washcloth at the end of my feet when I was taking my bath to play the siren :D I seen it several times since and frankly, It's a good little romantic comedy of the years 80 which looks again without problem.
