St martin's summer

Robe True Decadence, Wolford tights *., sac chat Asos, bottines Jonak*, JOLI ROUGE CLARINS N°741*

It seems that the trees began to bloom again because of unusal heat of this fall. Some worry, other are happy. I, like a little grandmother who loves weather stories (I'm passionate about it, I even made my last year of study at College all about seasons), I love to talk about it.

My father said to me yesterday that this kind of weather in November was well known in the area he grew up in : Touraine. The story tells Saint Martin of Tours's death, While his remains was transported on the Loire towards the Tourangelle capital, the trees began to bloom while the boat was passing.

We call this the Saint Martin's summer (Indian summer is more of an english expression), It is therefore not a new phenomenon, what changes is the duration, It's been warm for a while now.

So I took the opportunity again to take pictures in a pretty Parisian street, le Square des Peupliers in the 13th arrondissement, one of the loveliest countryside location in Paris I had the opportunity to visit : cute narrow streets with trees, pretty little houses, a kind of enchanted interlude of the 13th arrondissement. I Highly recommand you go to check it out ;)

Aside from the fact that I love your look, it's funny what you say, because in Spain it's super hot these days and one of my clients just talking me “Indian summer”, I had absolutely never heard (and it's 8 years I live here…)…Comme quoi, bizarre weather tips are universal :-)
    Bonne semaine!

  13. 9 November 2015 at 15:16

    Jolie !!!

Here too (NY) it's crazy, The weather is great, hot, and people in shorts balladent. But I, My grandma side, this is mental block that makes November = = cold dress well. Du coup, I walk with 12 layers of clothing “in case” (I remove the as and because it's really hot!)
And, I do not welcome the thermal shock when we will be entitled to the New York real winter and -30 °!…

I ordered this bag cat weeks ago and I have never received… :-( Infinite Sadness!
It is true that the weather makes us a little dingoes…I do not know if I have to sort my sweaters, if I have not put away my jacket or denim… Speaking babbling grandmother weather, I was told several times that winter was going to fall on the corner of the backbone without warning, and that it would sting ^^

  16. 9 November 2015 at 16:41

    I really like.
The dress is very pretty and you've finally got your little cat bag I love! I'm jealous…

I love these Victorian boots! Sinon, in Italy it is also called the summer of St martin, but it is said that the saint, seeing a poor man, gave him his wool coat and God, moved by the gesture, has pushed up the temperature a bit to help the most up to next town…

  21. 9 November 2015 at 22:34

What a pretty dress, she goes on to delight ;) Enjoy the good weather to stroll outside and walk and bring small autumn treasures, that's what I love to do with my daughter, it's so beautiful autumn in France with all the greenery around us, I missed that I do not make me realize when I lived abroad ….

That's long enough that I was not here last, but then, it's still cute ♥
The flowered dress is still well regarded because it changes us autumnal colors. The place is charming, we do not believe in capital – en mode, Provincial Plouc – And icing on the cake : an old story that I like.

Beautiful continuation to you, encore & encore, jolie Eléanore.

Tours is a beautiful city if you have the opportunity one day to visit! Candes St Martin aussi, it's very cute in the corner… :)

  29. 10 November 2015 at 19:01

It's good that you know that “legend”… which is verified annually in Touraine ! Cartesian spirits say qu'll is an alignment of planets… I prefer the poetic side of the summer of the Saint-Martin.
