Lumos !

I already told you about my passion for lightings and home automation ? Lighting a bit on this blog if I remember correctly, home automation I'm not sure yet. I'll have to do an article about it 4 but I haven't found the right angle ^^

I gave you a glimpse on my home lightnings with personal tips here and I already told you about everything that's remote controlled. I have lots of lamps at home and don't want to turn it on one by one so I connected each one to a remote-controlled plug.

At home I have good general “lighting” but I was struggling a little to illuminate faces when we are around the table with softened lights. So I bought LED candles (with a fake small trembling flame, it works well). But it must be enlightened one by one. and I'm too lazy, to do that, So I keep it for special occasions.

And I agreed on working with the lightonline website and they have these great remote controlled LED candles. I have a universal remote control at home (I'm passionated about home automation !) so now I can turn it on automatically when I put a softened light mode on. I like it SO much !! (if you don't have that remote there is one with the candled of course).

My current project is to buy This infrared universal remote WAND to light my candles. It does not react to a button but to a movement. Imagine you get back home, you wave the wand with some movement whispering “Lumos” and ! It lights candles in your library !

** Remote-controlled LED candles, garland la case du cousin Paul

Now i want to buy many of it and put it absolutely EVERYWHERE !

Ahem. Let's be serious again, all those little lights are really important to create a nice light atmosphere. You must vary the light styles to create a harmony : more diffuse light or dark shadows, shapes of lamps, etc…

I have many of it, I made gifs with different lightnings : with and without lights to show how it changes the volumes ^^

    Bonjour !
Very nice this lighting. Pour ma part, I use a very cool system also (http://www.lifx.com/) which consists in having bulbs set all lamps I want and then “pilot” via mon iphone. I can, and this is where it's magic, make them change color, either all together or one by one, I can create a mood with colorful, c’est top. My husband was a fan of home automation… And so no need to remote, I can even do it remotely. It s & rsquo; as can be fun…

    • 10 December 2015 at 11:30

I have long hesitated with these bulbs systems there are more and more, but it does not go on all the lights it seems, and suddenly it bothers me not to fly ANY simultaneously :D

  15. 10 December 2015 at 14:55

Mouahahah remote controlled life, but this is what I lived with my ex. As data, 14 years old, and home testing for his company, there were remotes everywhere. The man with remote controls, mouarf !
I was traumatized by controlling the coup. The worst being the fridge that records all input and withdrawal, even you could eat alone.
    Now it makes me laugh.

The management of the lights is reasoned and friendly.

    • 10 December 2015 at 15:08

Ha ha yes it is clear that we must not abuse.
I have done the opposite I replaced all the remote controls A remote control that makes crazy if you're always trying to look for one !

  21. 28 February 2016 at 21:35

Many thanks for this fabulous discovery of the lamps remote that has changed my life (more better). I had three lamps in my daughter's room and had to switch them off / turn on one by one which was pretty painful. I can now turn two to him read stories, then the last one before putting it to bed. Just awesome. I am seriously dabbled on the LED candles, and I do not think that it will last a very long time.
