I've always been a big head of Linnet. When I was a kid, my parents were betting among themselves when they asked me to pick something up in the kitchen, that I was going to come back 2 minutes after to ask them what they wanted already. My father said that I was not in the Moon, but that I was downright stung my tent.
I am able to take off at any time, I have a lot of difficulty installing my attention too long and if I don't notice things, I instantly forget (and they come at the discretion of my thoughts).
That is why I am one of those unbearable people who cut off the floor. Sometimes when I think about something, If I do not say it in the minute it is flown away for ever. This is a nasty defect I know :/
But why I'm talking about it and what is the relationship with lists ?
And though because to be an organized person, succeed at work and not be completely unbearable I put in place a whole bunch of systems, and lists form part. But attention No matter how, because you can drown in lists.
At one time I had its post in all corners of things to remember, tons of notes which I forgot the meaning recorded in my iphone (Hey do you mean what already “height bouta 30cm” ?), of to do lists that I was sending by mail. But everything ended up part of the landscape or lost in cyber space.
I ended up thinking a bit about how all this could be optimized and I looked for what were the best tools that I would be able to use on a daily basis and by type of work. First observation : I use a lot my iphone when I'm not working and out of home, make a max of lists above for the newspaper and everything can I need when I'm not facing my computer was therefore preferred.
Second observation : I prefer to use my computer when I work, and I am all the time on chrome. Everything about the work should therefore be listed on apps that I would find.
On my iphone I therefore focused regarding daily, purchases, what I think when I'm out or when I do not work. And I tried to make maximum use of the native apps : notes and reminders.
For notes, He had to stop to create new permanent, I have therefore created 3 I used all the time : “shopping supermarket”, “miscellaneous purchases”, “small notes in bulk”. And I put them to constantly update.
In “shopping supermarket” easy, I do my shopping list. In “miscellaneous purchases” I note absolutely everything I need when it comes to the mind (often when I range home, I make lists of objects to find in precise dimensions to store even better :D), like that when I have a bit of time and I do stores, I have everything about me. And in “small notes in bulk” I note absolutely everything that I'd like to deepen, later when I'll be on my comp. And now I'm losing more clue.
I also use the “reminders”, It has a great feature : set a reminder when one is in a geographic area. I note everything that should I buy or that I go see in a specific store, and bim when I'm in the area I get a notif on my iphone. It's crazy the future.
I also have lists “gift ideas” “nice places to take pictures” “books to buy”…
For the work, I do this a little differently : I make my to do list on my google calendar : I add tasks at specific times of the day, by evaluating the time they will take me. It prevents me to be too ambitious and make TB impractical do on a day where I already have a rendezvous for example. I try things with precision timer.
And so really I failed to do something, Instead it's still an item not scratched on a paper list, I move it to another day (always paying attention to the time).
Since I do this I feel less guilty, Finish to have the impression that I have damn nothing, It is marked on my calendar.

The idea of an agenda for my to do was first and foremost the idea of using a tool I used already much. I'm still a little reluctant to the idea of adding a new tool, often it is used one week and after it is finished.
But for lists of things I have to do “in the absolute” or my ideas, I ended up I decided to add a new tool to my list : trello. I've created several groups of lists by projects (le blog, one fine day, andy festival). It's great practice.
