I put what thought me reasonable. For me the max is : two large resolutions (aka two tricks that you seem to difficult, who are big sites) and four smaller.
Example : last year my 2 LARGE resolutions were to resume drawing and put me in the kitchen, my small two resolutions were to return to vote and write more. Resume drawing was a big challenge because I have always had fear and also cooking because this was several years I tried without get there. Go and vote it was easier, It was just me moving to register again on the voters lists and write more on my blog too because it was not wondering a huge effort.
2 – List resolutions
You probably already have an idea of what you would like to or have always dreamed succeed to make or change in your life. It can be simple things : Read more books or get to sport. As of the ambitious. A single rule : be realistic in the formulation of your resolutions, It changes everything and that makes them less discouraging.
Example : you want to learn Japanese ? Write “engage in Japanese” (Yes and no “learn Japanese” succeed to put it is the most important and you don't learn a language in one year in all ways)
3 – Why it needs to change ?
It's always easier to go after something when you know why you take a resolution, It also helps give it a direction. Ask yourself the questions, It will also help you know if you do it for yourself, or for others.
Example : When I wanted to put myself in the kitchen it was because I wanted to eat healthier (It could also be to lose weight or save for example), It therefore gave me direction : get to know certain ingredients, find where to provide me, Discover simple recipes of products found according to the seasons.
4 – That is what prevents me ?

5 – Implement an action plan
